Ànima de tramuntana
Premi Prudenci Bertrana 2020
Esponellà, Núria
La Mínia, a freelance archaeologist, is going through a difficult personal situation after having separated from the man she has lived with for years. However, the discovery of two unusual tombs in the necropolis of the Iberian city of Ullastret still faces an intense search that will help him face everything that awakens him in the darkness of the night. From this circumstance, the Mine recounts the story of Ekinar, a woman of the third century BC who is part of a culture deeply rooted in nature that understands death as part of the cycle of existence. La Mínia, on the other hand, belongs to a society that has largely lost its connection with nature and in which death has become almost a taboo subject. Ànima de tramuntana is an intimate and evocative story that transports us from Rhode to Ass, passing through Indika and Empòrion, with the landscape of the old Empordà in the background.
