Cartas a mi maestro

fragmentos seleccionados y correspondencia entre el Premio Nobel francés y su maestro

Camus, Albert

After receiving the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1957, Albert Camus wrote a letter to his former teacher in Algiers, Louis Germain, without whom "none of all this would have happened" and expressed his appreciation. The complete set of correspondence between these two men, never before published, and a fragment of The First Man where the character of Professor M. Bernard appeared are compiled in Letters to my teacher. An edition in the form of a tribute to that magnificent bond of gratitude and tenderness that brought them together.
