Piero and Lucia love each other, but both need to experience, travel the world, learn and discover life together and separately. Their love story extends in time and space, they distance themselves and get closer, the passion decreases, the love is transformed into tenderness and affection. Fior allows us to access different moments of their lives and their relationship, portraying at the same time a whole generation of lost thirtysomethings without references, seduced by an infinity of life models, but unable to opt for any one. Over the years, in the distance, Piero and Lucia idealize each other... or perhaps they idealize the concept of love propagated by contemporary culture, a concept that, honestly confronted, can come to show a cruel face.
