Cleopatra
una reina inteligente y luchadora en un mundo dominado por hombres
VV.AA.
Artists, writers and historians have spread over time an image of Cleopatra who draws on the portrait created by her adversary, Augustus. In each era, they have modulated the story and placed emphasis on one or another sin attributed to the female sex. The queen's image is thus drowned in a legend created to dull her political achievements and deny women's ability to govern. This biography aims to dismantle those myths and show the cultured and brilliant stateswoman that Cleopatra was from her education in the Alexandria of the time to her work at the head of Egypt.
