Córrer per amor

Córrer per amor

Comet, Anna

Why does a pregnant woman with a belly and running make us turn around and look at her as if she were an alien? Why is it not socially well-integrated to naturally combine pregnancy, motherhood and sport? For Anna Comet, a high-level mountain racing athlete, this did not conflict with her activity as a runner. Anna decided to continue with her activity, adapted to the vital moment that was the pregnancy. To do this she was informed and advised by health professionals and ran safely and healthily for her and the fetus up to four days before delivery. Anna has shown that pregnancy and physical activity are not incompatible, although much of society can believe it. In fact, there are more and more scientific studies that claim this compatibility. Returning to high-level competition after a few months of childbirth also shows that motherhood and sport can be combined. The doors to a more evolved society are opening up and this issue cannot be left out.
