Almost a hundred species of jellyfish, from the ubiquitous Aurelia to the enigmatic Velella, with amazing facts about these fascinating marine life forms. Jellyfish come in a dazzling variety of colors, shapes and sizes. They live adrift in all oceans, from the surface to the deepest depths of the seas, and are even found in fresh water. It is not surprising that these ancient creatures, also called badwaters, so luminous and resembling extraterrestrials, are often compared to mythical beings with changing shapes.
