BIM is here to stay and sooner rather than later we will all have to adapt our way of working to this methodology. One of the best options is to enter the BIM world with the set of solutions offered by CYPE Ingenieros (leader in the architecture, engineering and construction software sector) and the platform developed by them BIMserver.center *. It will be easy and compatible with many of the programs that we already use, at the same time that we can incorporate new ones, many of them free, according to our needs. This book offers the reader a guide to start the process or improve it from various points of view, that of the individual designer who develops all the sections of the project, that of the designer who collaborates with other professionals in different specialties of the project and that of the collaborator specialist. All these professionals need to know how to implement the new processes and integrate them into their usual tasks, using computer programs that they already use (some new ones) and thanks to the information necessary to provide the building model with all the information (BIM). Using the common data environment (CDE) such as BIMserver.center opens up a new world of possibilities that will make us the professionals of the future today.
