In the digital and globalized age, crime has spread and professionalized with unprecedented force and speed, but the police model in charge of combating it remains outdated, paralyzed by fear and political correctness. While the political power has taken care for decades to protect its interests before those of the citizens, preventing any improvement, the media power today questions the police authority with unprecedented insistence and aggressiveness. Don't fuck the police warns us that political disdain and cultural surrender come at a high price for our freedom and security. The areas of the big cities where the police do not enter do not stop growing. Our children are more likely than ever to experience sexual or gang violence. Barcelona is already a city badly degraded by crime and riots. Large areas of Levante and southern Spain are havens for organized crime. On the other hand, enormous resources are dedicated to making up the statistics and promoting propaganda to assure public opinion that "everything is going well", shielding the official discourse so that nothing changes. It may be too late.
