El Pirata

The Pirate began this work a month before his 65th birthday and finished it a couple of months after he was reborn in a SAMUR ambulance in October 2022. Born into a humble family in the 1950s in Talavera saw how both rock and roll and polio spread through his body. Rock culture knocked on his door and the trigger for his illness was the radio, music magazines and the record player. He is a guy who fulfilled his dream, and has become a reference for rock radio in this country and who has been able to meet the musicians and announcers who have forged the history of rock and musical radio and rub shoulders with them . Because of his profession, he keeps records, magazines, concert tickets and a lot of objects that make up a whole galaxy of satellites that orbit around rock culture and that have little battles behind them that will also enrich this book. This is his life told in his words, which has left a deep mark on the surface of his memory. The marks on his face, the scars, the shine in his eyes and the width of his smile.
