A newlywed couple celebrates their wedding night. They don't know that it will be the last of their lives. The next day, San Francisco Homicide Inspector Lindsay Boxer examines the crime scene. Lindsay is not having the best time of her life, since she has just been diagnosed with a rare disease. However, she is not going to give up and, to solve the case, she decides to enlist the help of three women, each of them experts in their field: the young and sharp journalist Cindy Thomas, the forensic doctor Claire Washburn and the relentless assistant of the prosecutor Jill Bernhardt. The four will unofficially form the Women Against Crime Club. A club that will have to work against the clock, because the double homicide is only the first by a serial killer.
