Eurovisió

Ramos, Jordi (1978- )

The Eurovision Song Contest is the biggest entertainment show in the world. In our country, more than half of the people who watched television that day followed the final of a competition that continues to gain followers, also in Catalonia. In fact, the population with the most Eurofans per square meter in the state is Catalan and there are many Catalans who have participated in some way. Who are they? How have they experienced it? The RAC1 contest expert reviews the experiences of all of them, from Víctor Balaguer (1962) to Chanel (2022), but also introduces us to the Eurovision world: the history of the contest, the Spanish representations, the case of "La, la, la", the contest's relations with politics or with the LGBTI community, without forgetting its supporters, the scoring system or the reason for Australia's participation.
