"It is necessary that we do not treat feminism between sips of tea, as we have always treated it. We need to give you more attention than the one granted to an afternoon pastime". Rosa Maria Arquimbau (1909-1992) was the only journalist in the 1930's to have a fixed section in a newspaper, with its own head. It was entitled "Film & Soda", and was published on La Rambla between 1930 and 1932. This volume presents the best articles by Arquimbau published in that column, plus a selection of those he published in L'Opinió and three journalistic reports for the weekly Imatges. A representative sample, therefore, of one of the most modern feathers of the period. The author demonstrates a special combination of roguery, commitment and disenchantment. Arquimbau was a feminist who went free; A pioneer who paved more on her way than she was recognized.
