A metaverse is essentially an alternate virtual world that is channeled with virtually no limitation through an artificial intelligence (AI) system. In this way, each user can immerse themselves in an alternative reality to work, shop, socialize or, ultimately, connect, through an avatar, with another dimension: that of cyberspace. But this virtualization poses important challenges in very diverse fields.
