Díaz Pita, María Paula
The Civil Registry Law of 2011 (which came into force in 2021, ten years after its promulgation) contains organic and procedural rules that raise problems of this nature that are rarely addressed by procedural law. In this monographic work, these unknown issues have been analyzed, which focus on the examination, on the one hand, of the figure of those in charge of the Civil Registry Offices from their historical background to the current attribution of these registry functions to the Lawyers of the Civil Registry. the Administration of Justice for the subtraction from the Courts of First Instance and the Courts of the Peace (given the dejudicialization or administrativeization of the registry service) and, on the other, in the analysis of the procedural channels for challenging the resolutions and acts of the Directorate General Legal Security and Public Faith in matters of Civil Registry, and other types of processes regulated both in the civil registry standard and in our Civil Procedure Law of 2000 that have their origin in the operation of the Civil Registry itself in its current configuration .
