L'assassinat de Roger Ackroyd

Roger Ackroyd knows too much. He knows that the woman he loves had poisoned her brutal first husband. She also suspects that she was being blackmailed. Now, tragically, he receives the news that the woman has just committed suicide with an overdose of sleeping pills. But the afternoon mail brings Roger one final, fatal piece of information that may lead to the identity of the blackmailer being discovered. Unfortunately, before he can finish reading it he is stabbed in the back and dies...
