Matemáticas experimentales

In elementary mathematics, manipulative activities are heavily integrated into the instruction to facilitate visualization and understanding of concepts. However, its presence is reduced in the explanation of advanced mathematics. In this book we will rediscover five key mathematical theories, whose definitions and results are complemented by applications to everyday situations, didactic proposals that will allow us to see and touch the mathematical world. As he said mathematician Stanley Gudder, "The essence of mathematics is not to make simple things complicated, but to make complicated things simple". In that same spirit, this work wishes to convert complex abstractions into accessible knowledge.
