Mente sin límites

From the moment we enter school they tell us that our brain is a fixed entity, capable of learning certain things, but not others, conditioned exclusively by genetics. This idea haunts us into adulthood, when we tend to accept established beliefs about our abilities (for example, that we do not have "a mathematical brain" or that we are not "a creative person"). These damaging and -as the new science has revealed- false ideas have affected our confidence and limited our options.
