Que Al·là em perdoni

Karrouch, Laila

Samira is a Muslim girl who came to Catalonia when she was little. Her father, a deeply believing, open-minded man, wanted to distance her from traditions too rigid for Moroccan women. Now Samira has grown up, lives her faith intensely and intimately and is a cheerful and studious girl starting her first year of career. What she didn't imagine was that she would meet Jordi and his life would take a turn. Jordi is a fantastic boy who falls in love with her, but the boundaries between religions become present: for Samira it is impossible to be with an atheist without hurting her family. She is afraid of being repudiated and unable to keep in touch with her family. For Jordi's environment, it is unthinkable that he is with a girl wearing a headscarf. Both will have to face the reality of their feelings and make decisions that will be irreversible.
