Scottie Pippen has been called one of the best players in the NBA for good reason. There would be no Michael Jordan as we know him. The Chicago Bulls of the 1990s would not exist as we know them. How did the youngest of twelve children go from growing up poor in the small town of Hamburg, Arkansas, going through two family tragedies along the way, to becoming a revered NBA legend? How did the scrawny teenager, overlooked by every major college basketball program, become the fifth overall pick in the 1987 NBA Draft? And, perhaps most compelling, how did Pippen put his ego aside for the Bulls to become the most dominant basketball dynasty of the past half-century?
