Viatges d'en Kabbo
Llompart, Jordi
Viatges d'en Kabbo is a series of vital, sincere and emotional chronicles in which Jordi Llompart explains some of the most surprising and significant episodes of his personal and professional life, such as an incredible journalistic adventure in the Bolivia of the revolution and drug trafficking from the 1980s, a fun and surprising trip to the mountains of Yemen or the episodes of the stormy production of the film for IMAX cinemas The Mystery of the Nile, a unique cinematic feat. Unexpectedly, just after achieving international success with this film, Jordi Llompart had to face the loss of his daughter Jana in a tragic accident in Namibia. From then on, Kabbo's travel stories (his name means "dream" in the Bushman language) take on a new, increasingly humanistic dimension. Thus the author presents his thoughts on life and death shared with his friend Pepe Rubianes and also takes us to experience the shooting of a new 3D cinematographic production in the African savannah, full of anecdotes and reflections, with which, both the author and the reader, open the heart and mind to a more authentic understanding of the individual, nature and the world.
