'Same same... but different' is probably the most famous phrase in Thailand and the Southeast in general. And we believe that there is no other that better defines this book. Welcome to Southeast Asia could have been another travel guide with essential information, routes, tips and the best destinations to visit. Although that would be 'same same', more of the same. So we decided to include all of that, but telling it through our own adventure. An adventure that will take us through eight countries: Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines. On your tour there will be exciting and also raw moments, with personal reflections on controversial issues and, above all, with those anecdotes that only arise when you overcome your fears and commit to living each place to the fullest. Living with its people, learning its customs and discovering its most unique corners. All this is what makes it 'different'. Our passion for traveling has always gone hand in hand with being able to share it with others, with motivating them to grab their backpack and go out and discover the world. This book aims to take this inspiration to a new level, but the goal hasn't changed: we want to take you on a trip twice.
