Das linguistische Erbe von al-Andalus

The contact between the Orient and the Occident that took place in Spain over the course of eight centuries (711–1492) had a cultural and linguistic impact that stretches into the present day. This is why, after Latin, Arabic has had the biggest influence on Spanish vocabulary. This study aims to describe this influence, defined as a cultural adstrate, on different linguistic levels by taking into account the underlying structures.

El contacto entre Oriente y Occidente que se produjo en España a lo largo de ocho siglos (711-1492) tuvo un impacto cultural y lingüístico que llega hasta nuestros días. Por eso, después del latín, el árabe es el idioma que más ha influido en el vocabulario español. Este estudio pretende describir esta influencia, definida como un adstrato cultural, en diferentes niveles lingüísticos teniendo en cuenta las estructuras subyacentes.
